2011-2012 PEP BAND GUIDELINES/SCHEDULE

Boys Varsity Basketball Home Games

Guidelines:

• ALL CONCERT/SYMPHONIC BAND MEMBERS WILL BE ASSIGNED TO ONE OF THREE PEP BANDS, AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PERFORM AT THREE GAMES.
• There will be three separate Pep Band (Pep Band A, Pep Band B, and Pep Band C).
• You are encouraged to attend more than just your assigned games, but you are still required to participate in your assigned pep band games.
• If a student has a conflict with an assigned game, the following steps MUST be taken:
  • Find another band member who plays your same part that would be willing to switch games with you.
  • You MUST have this switch approved by Mr. Schrameck or Mr. Espy.
  • A note stating the students’ names and dates must be turned in to Mr. Schrameck or Mr. Espy.
• Your pep band responsibilities will be part of your 2nd semester grade in Concert/Symphonic Band.
• Reporting time for all games will be 6:30 unless you are told otherwise.
• All members should wear flock t-shirts to each game. Please see Mrs. Gaible or Mr. Trout to obtain a shirt if you do not have one.
• Pep Band members are to be picked up at 9:30 PM on the evenings of our performances. DO NOT wait until the game is over to make your transportation arrangements. Any student not picked up by 9:30 will be asked to wait for their ride in the Fley Center (pool).
• Pep Band members are expected to report promptly at the times indicated.
• Pep Band members will remain in the Fley Center after the game begins. Access to the band room will not be permitted during the game due to safety issues. Please do not leave valuables unattended in the band room during the game!
• Pep Band members are to behave properly at all times (no PDA, inappropriate language, etc...).

Required Rehearsals For All Concert/Symphonic Band Members:

1. Tuesday, November 30: 2:15 - 4:15PM
2. Thursday, December 2: 2:15 - 4:15PM
