The Milford Junior High School Concert Band has received the great honor of being invited to perform at the 2005 Ohio Music Education Association Professional Conference, which will be held at the Albert B. Sabin Convention Center in Cincinnati on February 3-5, 2005.

Over 130 performance group audition tapes were evaluated, and the Milford Junior High School Concert Band was one of only four junior high school bands from throughout the state of Ohio to be invited to perform at this prestigious event.

The band will be performing seven selections including:

  1. Courage March (composed by Harold Bennett/arranged by Larry Clark),
  2. In Darkest Night (Barry Kopetz),
  3. Canyon Winds (Sean O’Loughlin),
  4. A Song of Hope (James Swearingen),
  5. Chorale Paraphrase (Elliot Del Borgo),
  6. American Collage (arr. By Michael Story), and
  7. Rhythmata (Erik Morales).

The band will be performing on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 10:30 AM in the Millennium Hotel Grand Ballroom. The performance is open to the public, and admission is free.
