Milford Band - Mulch Sale at Sam's Club
EXCITING NEWS….. The Milford Band has been invited to sell mulch outside of the Eastgate SAM’S Club. What a great opportunity for our students to earn some additional money towards their band and guard fees! Since this requires no door-to-door sales, 50 cents for each bag sold at SAM’S will be donated to the Drumline, Winter Guard, or Band Boosters (depending on who is working) and 50 cents will be split among those volunteers working that day. We have a very short window to get this all together as the mulch is being delivered this coming Friday and sales start the following Saturday. Sign up sheets are posted in the band room. We have set aside Mar 13th for Drumline and Mar 21st for Winter Guard. The remaining six days (Mar 14-20) are open to anyone involved in Band or Guard. Sign up early as there are only a limited number of spots. (Note – if the mulch sells extremely well and we have an excess of interested students, we will consider extending our selling window at SAM’S). Note - we must have one adult chaperone for each shift. Parents, if your child is volunteering, please offer to chaperone that shift.
