Great American Ball Park - Fundraising Opportunity

I know it is hard to believe with all of the snow on the ground, but Baseball season is just around the corner. That also means that Band Camp is not to far off either! As you know, we are trying to do a fewer number of fund raisers which generate a larger amount of proceeds. With that in mind, The Band Boosters will have the opportunity to work a concession stand at the GREAT AMERICAN BALL PARK!!!

We have teamed with Dale Lamb's Church to afford us a greater number of games to choose from, as well as, providing additional people to fill out the required 8 people per game.

Here are the basic rules:

  • You must be 18.
  • You must attend a 5 hour training session.
  • The day of the game, you get there early to prep (4:30 ish).
  • The latest Dale's group got out last year after clean-up was mid-night.
  • You have a great time and sell as much as you can - we get a percentage!

The options are as follows:

  • Tuesday, 11-Feb-2003 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Thursday, 13-Feb-2003 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
  • Sunday, 16-Feb-2003 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Sunday, 16-Feb-2003 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM

We need to know ASAP. The names will be turned in next MONDAY Feb 3rd. There is no cost for the training. When you email, please give a phone number so that I can contact you about parking etc.

Let's show the kids our support by spending a day at the ol' ball park. What fun!
