Call to Order. July 29 minutes approved, no revisions.
TREASURER’S REPORT- Joe Haas. Jazz band evening netted $778.
Band camp expenses still in process of totaling. BOA expenses begin to show next month.
DIRECTORS- Mrs Everett emailed Kim Slade. Do we have a person to help with concert uniforms. They need to be ready for December concerts.
Students need to be fitted.
PRESIDENT- Kim Slade stated that Band Camp went very well. Appreciation was given for the hospitality and meals. Senior night was great.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
WAYS AND MEANS- Raylene Gerber- Will ask about band credit given just as gym credit given to students.
CHAPERONE- email will be sent to remind chaperones to be here at 6:00 for next football game.
EQUIPMENT-Tony Brewer- Busy time since last meeting. Successful “clean the shed” day. Podiums almost complete thanks to Bob Slade and Mike Duguid. The trailer has been delivered.
DRUMLINE- Ann Shook-starting at Friday football game she will be manning drumline booth. Flocking has started. Details given to us about flockings.
GUARD-Susan Sloan- Flags are being sewn. First flag completed, second should be completed next week. Premier fundraiser income was over $1,000.
Thank Band Booster for their support. Guard camp is Sept 7th form 9 to 5.
MEMBERSHIP- Julia Foster- Buttons are done but, waiting on guard uniforms to be completed. Membership gets you two photo buttons.
UNIFORMS- Kathy Christopher- Looking for volunteers to help
BOA- Tim Gerber- First competition is one month away in Massillon.
Details will follow. Indy details are being worked out.
WAYS AND MEANS- Kim Haas- Sept 22 is Max and Ermas fundraiser.
Pretzel sale going well. Looking for participation on a Laser tag over Christmas holiday.
HOSPITALITY- Ang Kovatch- Cookie call may be needed for next game.
PUBLICITY- Gary Presley- spoke about You Tube video, starting band blog at Cincinnati.com
New Business-
C NOTIFY- John Pineault- list is finished and sent to Val Miller. Will be up and running for Massillon.
