WGI World, placed 17 out of 41 lines in the open class, incredible since first year in the open class.   Clearly a group of over achievers.   Nobody goes to semis the first year you switch classes.

They are a great group of kids, be proud of your kids in drumline and it has been my privledge to hang out with these kids,

Thanks to Bob Slade and Steve Howes for driving.

Thanks to my husband, Harry Evans for all his help.

We always have 12-14  volunteers for pushing things out, this was great!

OLD BUSINESS -

NEW BUSINESS-

List of new officers: provided at meeting.

Election of officers – all in favor, ayes

Nays- none spoken, therefore,  new officers officially elected!

Should we run a phone chain to remind all band parents to get out and vote?

The concern is that if other groups are calling, maybe we do not need to remind them, maybe we can get Rocky to put the reminder on emails.   We voted down the calling by phone chain for levy support.

Remind committee heads to get all info ready to hand new committee head the infor.  Let’s make the May meeting pass the book day.

Pizza party for both groups who won the basket raffles at the guard/drumline show; low brass did night at the movies

Cruising in the car – no one knows who did this basket, maybe the drumline, there were about 4 baskets from the drumline.

Cathy will ask the drumline and get back to jill, so they can be invited to the pizza part.

Each basket sold for $75.  Good job.

Scholarship chosen tonight, will be given out the night of the banquet.

Tom Rocklin, rocky, has been doing website for a very long time, and the idea was brought up to give him a gift for his help with this.  Patty proposed a gift card for 100, motion approved.  Seconded.

Drum major clinician needs paid, motion to approve, should be in budget for this.

Jill Waeber- Motion to adjourn the meeting,  and was seconded. Meeting adjourned at 8:25pm .

Respectfully submitted,

Band Booster Secretary
