PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Jill Waeber – The solo ensemble was great! kids are awesome. Have heard good things about drum line. Show is March 18th we need help from everyone. Sign up please for something! Make sure you vote on may 2nd. Remember to get absentee ballots for kids in college. Stay informed, visit school web stay up on what is coming up. We need you in marching band boosters next year. Thanks for everyone who stuffed envelopes tonight. Thanks for everything.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Patty Holshauser – 5/3 band lost a check and charged us service fees, it is being checked on. Drum line clinician fees and paint for tarp was misc. Fees. Income was the spirit wear that was purchased.
DIRECTORS’ REPORTS:
Mr. Brown: junior guard. Handful of colorguard members doing junior guard and are doing great job and having great time. Meeting last week with the color guard members to meet the new staff for next year went really well. Will be positive thing for us.
Mr. Schrameck:
Mrs. Towner: Kids did awesome job, proud of kids. Thankyou to Patty Tanksley for doing tues night program for concert. Starts at 7 , $2 admission fee, concert band and band. We have itinerary for symphonic and concert band, 6 and 7:15 at winton woods auditorium. Hope lots can come to see. Very excited about this for next Friday. Itinerary up on web site soon.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Ways and means – mulch sale kicked off. Great fund raiser, easy to boost your account. Panera bread ongoing. Launch buyit in milford books now 20 and you get the free buy it in milford card. Students get about 8 for each sold, we think.

Marching uniforms
Concert uniforms = Laura – they are getting ready. Will send out email on what is expected from students.
Chaperones – Wendy lambing = usually have a couple of parents sit with the group not performing at concert.
Please let Wendy know if you can volunteer.
Equipment – Steve Howe : trailers have been moved out of bus barnyard and are in mulberry. There are locks on the hitches to prevent loss.
Drum line – Cathy Evans; uniforms are in and get fitted tonight. WGI regional this Saturday . They have the entire program and are doing really well. They hae moved up to the national open class. There are three classes, world, open and a class. They took big step to move up and are doing fine. It is a much more competitive and sophisticated, and the drum line is doing well.
Color guard – New instructors have schedule for spring tryouts and schedule for spring summer and fall. His name is Drew Steinbrecker. Very organized, graphic designer and got his act together.
HOSPITALITY/ REFRESHMENTS: Jamie Phillips, Vickie Pielsticker- We will need to have door people at the concert. Jodi asked if we can get snacks for next Friday night and Vickie and Jamie said they can help with this. Both groups will need snacks, maybe before they leave.
SENIOR COMMITTEE: Vickie Pielsticker - working on trip to cedar point may 24th spend the night and go the 25th. This is the night of senior boat night, scheduling conflict. Breakers hotel. Get back late 25th. Will send letter to seniors and family and deadlines and money due will all be in letter to get taken care of.
Boa – Tim Willard – probably need to make decisions on where to stay and in April / may we make hotel reservations and book buses. Will need meeting with the board to discuss this per Mr. brown.

OLD BUSINESS – are there any dates for a band show in the fall. Mr. brown says there really are no dates unless we take one of our competition days out. No other weekends due to other things going on.
Band camp dates posted on website. A little different this year as far as the set up this year, so be sure to check early and plan your schedules accordingly!
Patty is checking on kitchen for the 8:30 – 8:30 week.
Need someone to cater the meal at the award banquet in May to help, see Jill if there is any interested. Vickie has great notes and will loan longaberger baskets!
The baskets for show are due march 10th, will put in back of library and Wendy will bring them home with her over the weekend so we don’t have to worry about security.
We will have to sensor wish o grams at our drum line winterguard show in March.
