President’s Report:  Biz will be presenting the Band Booster scholarship at the Senior Awards Night.  The spring mega concert is May 17th.  3-4 parents are needed to set up and take down chairs.  Chaperones are also needed for the concert and for graduation.  The Band Banquet invitations are out.  Volunteers are welcome for decorations, serving, and clean up.

Director’s Report:  Mr. Brown needs a check for $200 for Musica Propra for copyright clearance for the marching band show.  There will be an additional practice on May 23rd for graduation.  A big thank you to all of the chaperones for the Disney Trip.  Everyone did an awesome job!  The trip went very well and all of the kids had a great time!

BOA:  Tim Willard

Regionals this year will be in Indianapolis on October 29th.  It will be a one-day trip and we are taking Croswell Motor Coaches.  Nationals are on November 11th and 12th in Indianapolis.  We are performing at 4pm on that Friday and will probably follow a similar schedule to last year with a practice during the day at Beechwood High School, lunch at the church (if possible), travel to Indy, check into the hotel and dress for the afternoon performance.  The plan is to have a nice dinner that evening.  We will be staying overnight for one night.  Tim requested Embassy Suites again.  Tickets for Saturday are pending. The students will travel to nationals on Croswell Motor Coaches.

Concert Uniforms:  Rosanna Ortlepp

Joann Fabric is looking for more fabric for the new ladies concert tops.

Marching Uniforms:  Rosanna Ortlepp

The new uniforms should be arriving in July.  We will need an additional uniform rack.

Jill Waeber:  The casual uniforms will be in a week from Monday, on time for the Memorial Day and Frontiers Day parades.

Equipment:  Steve Howes

Steve will take care of setting up/taking down chairs for the Mega concert and will be responsible for the equipment trailers for the two parades.

Senior Committee:  Pat Bodner

Everything is set for the banquet and all plans have been finalized for the Cedar Point trip.

Unfinished business:  Biz Goldman

Reviewed the constitutional change of adding a VP position and changing the titles of existing VP positions.  Approved as read.

New Business:  Biz Goldman

Midsummer at the Meadows parking will be July 8th and 9th.  All drumline and guard students are asked to participate, as this is a fundraiser for their winter programs.

Biz thanked everyone for the awesome years she was involved in band and the great friends her and Steve have made.  Her and  Steve surprised everyone with a donation of a huge event gas grill for the band!  Biz presented the gavel and flowers to Jill.  Meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
