TREASURER’S REPORT:  Approved and filed for audit.

John Frye presented a plan for the Bond issue in May.  This is to raise funds for the following renovations, additions and new buildings for the Seipelt new elementary school, Boyd E. Smith, the Jr. High and High School on May 3rd ballot.

A change in the High School building Mr. Frye is excited to share the following with us.

Twenty-two new classrooms in a two story Ninth Grade Community in the current band field practice area.  575 expected freshmen are expected to educate in this new facility.

Security in the new main entrance will be significantly improved.  Library is woefully undersized.  Old gym is to become the new library.  The grassy knoll of Eagle’s Way will be shifted.  The old library will be used for technology space.  800 student capacity auditorium will be replacing the old.  A new cafeteria and the old will be reclaimed for science classrooms.  A new gym side by side with current.  Construction of auditorium with two new band rooms and two new chorus rooms.  There will be significant improvement of parking arena.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:  Congratulations to those who participated in the District XIV and Land of Grant Honor Bands.  Milford High School was very well represented.  The Junior High and High School Holiday Concerts were standing room only!!  We must congratulate our Rose Bowl Reps!  The Winter Season is in full swing and the Milford Tri Circuit Show is scheduled for March 5th and 6th.  We have a very talented group of students and staff with a fabulous supporting Booster Organization.

DIRECTORS’ REPORT:   New marching band uniform was modeled by Tim Willard.  Jacket zips in the back. With a snap on sash. The uniform is very inexpensive; $250.00 hat jacket and pants.  Half the cost of the previous.  Everything is machine washable.  Very pleased with the service of this company.  The description is black with charcoal shoulders and burgundy sash.  The idea is to happen right away and can happen by the end of the year.  The uniform is made and sewn in Dayton, Ohio.  The Board will kick in a large sum of money.  Not sure of the exact dollar amount.

Cedar Point dates are set for Wednesday May 25th through Thursday May 26th.  Pat Bodner is the chair person to contact.  Rehearsal tower is to be shipped within the next month.  March 31st meet will be the 8th grade parent meeting at 6:30 and Disney meeting at 7:30.  There will be a $2.00 charge for the Thursday March 3rd concert.
