Secretaries Report: Approved as read.
Treasurer’s Report - An explanation of Budget Report was given. There are 1300 total in membership. The treasurer has made payment for the buses and deposit for hotel in Youngstown.
President’s Report - A huge thank you to everybody. AWESOME Band Camp… It was a huge success and will be remembered as the band camp with the best weather, food and most importantly the most productive per the Directors. This could not have been accomplished without the tireless effort of so many dedicated people. Thank you!! We will still need you throughout the Marching Band season. We will be counting on all. The show T shirts were a big hit… Thank you to Emily Spear for her inspired design. There were calls from alumni wanting to purchase…Spirit wear is in…Tim is putting together Fall Spirit Wear…
DIRECTOR’S REPORT - Thank you to Ramona who was here every minute of every day for band camp…above and beyond …She had coffee every day for directors. Thank you to all the parents who prepared the food for all. Directors lunches were great…very nice…kids worked very hard and very excited about the season…We are well ahead in our practice for the season…The times for the Contest performance will not be known from contest hosts until a week before the event or even less lead time or last minute…Start time 10:00 Clermont County; Youngstown Regional 12:30-2:30 tentative….Grand Nationals 6:00 on Thursday…come back to go to school for Friday and back up on Friday after school…The crowd at the parent show was great…Mason contest there is a SAT test in morning; this should not present a problem for evening competition.
Paul - Junior High Band was recognized with great honor. OMENC was sent a tape and a letter received. We accepted to play and will be performing Feb 5th at 10:30am in the main ballroom…Awesome accomplishment…
Saturday, November 13th a sectional with all 8th graders. We need to look at funding this event. 8th graders will not perform holiday concert they will be practicing for the big event. Really exceptional…and it is right here in Cincy.
Jodi - Thank you again to all for a great Band Camp and to the new parents who jumped right in…
6th grade band…106 beginners…48 clarinets not an enjoyable sound Chris Phillips…Kirstie Rheinheimer…Teams of two going around all the elementary schools.
BOA - $3282.00 was paid for final tickets… All will be posted Friday for Youngstown…
COLOR GUARD – Unitards are in and the 2nd flag is in progress. Patti Tanksley offered her surger to help sew flags.
Ways and Means/Disney - Tim said there are 11 chaperones and 130 kids…You can pick up instruction for credits. Please mail payments to the P O Box. The alternative is to e-mail Patty…participant I D number. Link or form to purchase Travel Insurance.
-River Fest had 35 people signed up for the September 5th.
-Fall Spirit Wear is a hooded sweat shirt and sweat pants and pj bottoms.
Patti helped to organized Market Day.
Approximately $3,300 will be raised for the general fund from the parking event at the Meadows. This was NOT a FAIR SHARE fund raiser. July 31st Reds Game is credited to the accounts.
Kim Haus will be more than happy to run the LaRosa Buddy Cards. We need a guaranteed amount purchased to participate. If interested e-mail Kim…
Patti Tanksley will go to BIGGS to book a date at 6:00am to bag at Biggs.
Pamper Chef Fund raiser will run earn 20%. An e-mail will be sent with info.
Kroger/Script - order percentages have changed at the whim of the participating companies.
The accounts for Kroger are balancing to the penny every month. $20,000 a month at Kroger…
Membership - Buttons are in.
HOSPITALITY – Thank you to all who helped prepare lunches… At the home games we will be serving cookies and water to the other band…Patti will talk to SAM’S about donations.
CONTEST FOOD – Baker’s and Miller’s have been volunteered to help
Publicity - Something will be in the paper for our first contest.
PHOTOGRAPHY – Susan equipment will work great…digital movie camera is needed…Friday need to take digital pictures for thank you.

CONCERT UNIFORMS – Pricing for tops for girls….tunic style…
MARCHING UNIFORMS – “So far no one is naked.”
Not all will have a uniform for contest and football….Pants will be washed…Jackets will be dry cleaned.
Machine washable new uniforms next year!!!
CHAPERONES - Letterhead will be needed for Lowes’s to donate a garden cart…
EQUIPMENT – We are off to a good start with 18 volunteers…This Saturday will be a work day. Anyone interested please join us on August 28th from 9am to NOON.
Ideas for a pit room cabinet are needed….
Clermont donated a tractor…4th year they have helped us out…
DELEGATE AT LARGE – As a district we received an excellent rating…High School excellent rating…
SENIOR COMMITTEE – Pat Bodner said we had excellent support at the meeting. Senior Night went well. Pool party was the theme. The Senior dinner had great decorations. Very eventful night….Exhausting evening…Pat is not a party girl any more…

Friday Night Concessions there were 2 cases sold 43 sky wires…
